The Mind

Friday, June 17th, 2011

One of my favorite preachers of God’s Word has to be Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Joyce is a humorous, bold Charismatic Christian author who shares with her audience her own shortcomings and life’s trials. Sexually abused throughout her teenage years by her father, Joyce eventually managed to put these devastating memories behind her with the help of God.

Today, Joyce Meyer Ministries is involved in an international outreach helping people all over the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the following videos, Joyce speaks about “The Mind”. Essentially it all starts with the mind; what we think about is who we are.

“The mind is our biggest problem,
the mind is our battlefield,
what we think is what we say,
what we say becomes an attitude,
and our attitudes become our moods…”

Consciousness and the Unified Field Theory

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

MindfulGod.com - Consciousness and Unified Field TheoryMost of us have heard prophets, sages and enlightened beings say that we are all “one” but we look at the world and see separation everywhere, so how can that be true? Does that mean I’m one with Jack the Ripper as well as Mother Teresa? Does that mean that I’m one with you? Are these just airy-fairy ideas or could this be the next step in all of us realizing that we are actually an embodiment of God?

The fundamental principle that you find encoded in all major religions and all authentic spiritual paths is this spiritual idea called “oneness”. That we are at one with life – we are at one with the presents of God – we are at one with each other. We find that in all the traditions – “Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one”, one presents, one power, the Atman, the Buddha nature, the Christed one, it’s in quantum physics, Rupert Sheldrake the unified field “one presents everywhere”. This often-time doesn’t seem to square with physical evidence primarily because the average individual sees the world through a filter of a sense of separation. They see the world through their senses and if you’re more in the ego, then you’re going to sense survival, fear – which is all about getting, getting, getting. Through spiritual practices you go beyond the sensory realm and you enter into a field where you see not with eyesight but with insight that everything is connected. The scientists – the quantum physics say this is the unified field – that is everywhere in its fullness – that is undivided. That’s what being awake means, let’s just say I’m dancing this illusion of separateness but I’m not separate.

Fore once an individual has broken through, all the things on the surface that seem separate begin to work together for our good because we’re now in tune with everything on the invisible level. So you end up working not harder but you end up working a lot cleaner, a lot easier because you’re in tune with all of life. So you’re not trying to make things happen on the surface, you’re trying to make things welcome on the invisible side of life. So oneness is the primary principle, it’s the linchpin of power, we’re one with God, one with love, one with life, one with all the power that there is. Until we’re willing to embrace the totality of our humanity and our divinity we can never be in oneness because we’re taught to say ”I’m not that”, we’re taught to say “I see something I don’t like so I don’t want to be that” and we push that part of ourselves aside.

Albert Einstein in his last two decades relentlessly sought a single theory so powerful it would describe all the workings of the universe. Even as he neared the end of his life, Einstein kept a notepad close at hand curiously trying to come up with the equation for what would come to be known as the “Theory of Everything”. Convinced he was on the verge of the most important discovery in the history of science, Einstein ran out of time, his dream unfulfilled.

Now, almost a half century later Einstein’s troll of unification combining all the laws of the universe in one all-encompassing theory has become the holy grail of modern physics. And we think we may at last achieve Einstein’s dream with a new and radical set of ideas. But if this revolutionary theory is right we’re in for quite a shock as we may be living in a universe where reality meets science fiction.

The following videos are clips from “What The Bleep Do We Know!?” which highlight
John Hagelin, Ph.D explaining “Consciousness and Superstring Unified Field Theory”.

Past Lives and Reincarnation

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

Eckankar ReincarnationI have recently been made aware of Eckankar, a fairly new form of true religion introduced to the modern world in 1965 by Paul Twitchell. The teachings of Eckankar are not new, they have been on earth since the dawn of human history yet Paul Twitchell separated spiritual truths from the cultural trappings which had surrounded them and in so doing brought forward a new form of true religion.

Some of the basic beliefs of Eckankar are that the Soul is eternal and on a journey of Self and God Realization. The Soul unfolds spiritually via karma and reincarnation.

Each of us is Soul, a divine spark of God that lives through eternity. We are sent to this world to gain spiritual experiences. Through many lifetimes in the physical world, each of us progresses to a full realization and manifestation of our innate godlike qualities, especially divine love. It is the destiny of each Soul to experience God and serve all life.

This video is a story of a three year old girl who experienced a brief memory of her past life which often happens to children under the age of five, before mental conditioning takes hold.

What happens at the time of death?

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

At DeathWhat happens at the time of death? Where does the life force go? What is the transformation?

According to Eckhart Tolle death is a disillusion of form. The eternal life in us can not be touched by death.
What exactly happens is dependent on the predominant stage of consciousness you had in this lifetime. If your identification with form was still there and the awakening had not happened, there will be further identification with form (reincarnation). If there had already been disidentification with form and awakening had happened in this lifetime then you can infer that the compulsion to seek further experiences through identifying with form will be much weaker or be completely absent in which case the conciseness that you are is no longer bound to this realm; you will no longer seek to experience further identification with form and so will be able to move on into a realm that we can’t even conceive of with our minds (perhaps heaven).

Eckhart Tolle continues to explain that “Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God”.

The important thing to remember about Eckhart’s message is that “ALL IS WELL“.

There is no such thing as death. Death is merely a transition from one form into another form or from one form into formlessness.

The Present (universal truth)

Monday, August 9th, 2010

Ying YangRecently, I come across a website created and run by a group of college students where anyone can enter a contest dedicated to finding and spreading the truth about life and death, the ultimate truth. This could entail philosophy, science, religion, prophecy or simply themselves. Entries are evaluated using the evidence, critical reason, logic, common sense, and scientific methods. The top entries of the best explanation of the ultimate truth in the history of mankind make it to the top of the list for everyone to read and digest. There are no prizes just the reward of everyone learning the truth, the ultimate truth known to mankind.

I started to read the first entry and to my surprise the information I found reinforced much of my own thoughts, ideas and beliefs about this beautiful world we live in. I simply had to share this with you and strongly encourage you to read “The Present (universal truth)” all the way through.

“The truth is the only thing that can unite all human beings. It is what we all have in common, and that will never change. There is only one sky for all of us. Everyone eats and breathes and is born and dies etc. The ultimate truth is universal truth; it is the same for everyone, everywhere. It always has been and it always will be. We can now see the big picture of life.”

There are only four essential or fundamental things you need to know, and they are the following:

1. You are immortal.
2. Everything will balance.
3. You are not your mind.
4. The present (life) is God.
